Dilva Henry is an Emmy Award winning journalist, media trainer and adjunct professor for UCLA’s Bruin 29 Television News. She has been working in the communications industry for the past 15 years, half of which has been as Health Anchor and Producer for the largest Television News duopoly in the United States, KCBS-KCAL TV. Dilva’s work can be seen around the country on dozens of affiliate stations and via the Internet. She is also founder of the Media Mentoring Group.

She has conducted literally THOUSANDS of interviews over the years while covering news events with top politicians, celebrities and athletes. Some of her memorable moments include interviewing President George Bush, U.S. Senator John McCain, football greats Joe Montana, Joe Theismann, and “The Bus” Jerome Bettis. She covered Michael Jordan’s much anticipated return to basketball with the Chicago Bulls in March of 1995.

Some of Hollywood’s top directors have taken notice of her work and cast her in reporter roles, e.g. Steven Spielberg’s’ “The Terminal”, West Craven’s “Red-Eye”, Columbia Pictures’ “Fun with Dick & Jane”, NBC’s “West Wing” and CBS’s “Without a Trace”
